A man has been detained in the Chui region, accused of committing fraud amounting to $27,000.
According to information from law enforcement agencies, in January 2026, a citizen approached the police department of the Alamudun district, reporting that an acquaintance, having gained his trust under the pretext of providing legal services, took his money and stopped communicating.
The case involved assistance in obtaining a land plot of 82 hectares in the Uzun-Kyr rural administration of the Issyk-Ata district, as well as the processing of documents for 200 hectares of land in the forestry.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During operational activities, the suspect was identified as a man born in 1983, known as S.K. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
