Kyrgyzstan did not allow 15 tons of illegally imported kumys from Russia
At the veterinary and sanitary control point "Ak-Tilek" in the Chui region, the entry of 15,600 liters of kumys, which was being illegally imported from Russia, was prevented. This information was provided by the veterinary service responsible for the development of animal husbandry, pastures, and feed.

During the inspection, inspectors found that the packaging lacked a production date, which is a violation of veterinary and sanitary standards in Kyrgyzstan. As a result, the necessary reports were drawn up, and the product was not allowed into the country.

The cargo was returned to Russia through the same "Ak-Tilek" point.

The agency noted that control over the quality of imported products will be strengthened, and efforts to ensure food safety for citizens will continue.
