The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Orenburg Region discovered an attempt to illegally import frozen dumplings from Kyrgyzstan. Specifically, it concerns 8.6 tons of products that were detained at the Russian-Kazakh border, according to information from the agency's press service.

According to further clarification, the identified dumplings did not meet veterinary standards: some of them lacked the necessary veterinary documents and had not undergone a complete course of laboratory testing. This constitutes a violation of the sanitary standards of the Eurasian Economic Union. The documents also lacked information about the sanitary condition of the region, which is an important requirement.

The truck driver who was delivering this product faced administrative penalties, and the goods were returned to their place of origin.
