In the city of Osh, located on the border with Uzbekistan, an attempt to import agricultural products from the neighboring country was prevented, according to a report from the Ministry of Agriculture.

At the checkpoint "Dostuk," a cargo containing 22 tons of salt intended for livestock was not allowed through.

“During the inspection conducted by our inspectors at the border veterinary control, a discrepancy with the veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union was identified. In particular, the veterinary documents for this cargo did not meet the required standards,” the ministry explained.

As a result of the inspection, a report was drawn up for the return of the cargo, which was sent back through the "Dostuk" border point.
