At the veterinary control point "Dostuk" on the border with Uzbekistan, a large batch of feed salt weighing 22 tons was stopped. The cargo was coming from Uzbekistan but did not pass the inspection for compliance with established safety standards. During the inspection, specialists discovered serious violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements in accordance with the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The main reason for the detention was the non-compliance of the veterinary accompanying documents with the accepted standards, which prevents the confirmation of the safety and quality of this product.
As a result of the inspection, veterinary inspectors made a decision to prohibit the import of the goods. An official return act was drawn up, and the entire batch of salt was sent back to Uzbekistan through the same checkpoint. The tightening of control at the border is being carried out to ensure the epizootic well-being of Kyrgyzstan and strict compliance with the regulations of the Customs Union.
