At the veterinary checkpoint "Ak-Tilek," located in the Chui region, an attempt to illegally import 15,600 liters of kumis from Russia was stopped. The product was returned to the territory of the Russian Federation.

Inspectors conducting the control noticed the absence of a production date on the product label, which violates the veterinary and sanitary standards of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result of the inspection, the necessary documents were drawn up, and the cargo was prohibited from crossing the country's border. Ultimately, the product was sent back through the "Ak-Tilek" border point.

The veterinary services, engaged in the development of animal husbandry and ensuring food safety, continue their work to prevent such violations.
