Inspectors at the border veterinary control point "Ak-Tilek," located in the Chui region, stopped an attempt to import 11,720 kilograms of sausage products from the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

During the inspection, it was established that the imported goods did not meet the veterinary and sanitary requirements set by the Eurasian Economic Union.

As a result, the necessary documents confirming the violation were issued, and the import of the specified goods into Kyrgyzstan was prohibited. Ultimately, the cargo was returned to Russia through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint.
