At the border veterinary control point "Ak-Tilek," located in the Chui region, 11,720 kg of sausage products were discovered and returned, which were attempted to be illegally imported into Kyrgyzstan from Russia.

This information was provided to the Turmush correspondent by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the ministry, an inspection conducted by the control point inspectors revealed violations of veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union.

In connection with the identified violations, appropriate acts were drawn up, and the import of this cargo into the territory of Kyrgyzstan was prohibited.

Thus, the cargo was returned back to Russia through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint.
