In this regard, as noted by the ministry, a limitation on the volumes of irrigation water is planned, which may lead to shortages in some areas.
The department recommends that farmers and peasants implement the following measures:
- use water-saving technologies (such as drip and sprinkler irrigation);
- consider switching to crops that require less moisture;
- sow drought-resistant seeds.
For information on water supply issues, please contact the district agricultural development offices or specialists from the ministry.
“During the irrigation season, the ministry will focus on fair and balanced distribution of water resources.
We urge farmers and peasants to understand the situation and actively apply methods that promote water conservation,” the department noted.
