Kyrgyzstan will receive more than 30 million dollars as part of the "Phase 1 for Kyrgyzstan" project under the "One Health" Program. This information was announced at a meeting of the parliamentary committee that deals with issues of agricultural policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection.
First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Zhanibek Kerimaliev emphasized that this project is part of a global initiative initiated by the World Bank. The total budget amounts to 30.79 million dollars.
What are the main objectives of this project? “No additional funds from the state budget will be required for the implementation of this project. It does not have negative consequences and fully complies with both our legislation and international standards,” added Zhanibek Kerimaliev.
