According to the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture, climate change and reduced precipitation may lead to a shortage of water resources in 2026.

In light of this situation, the ministry strongly recommends that farmers implement water-saving technologies, such as drip and sprinkler irrigation, as well as consider growing less water-intensive crops and using drought-resistant seeds.

Representatives of the ministry added that for consultations on water supply issues, one can contact local agricultural development offices or specialists from the ministry.

The ministry also assured that it would ensure fair distribution of water resources throughout the irrigation season and urged farmers to understand the current situation and actively apply water-saving methods.
