At the checkpoint "Ak-Tilek," located in the Chui region, a cargo containing 15,600 liters of kumis was discovered, which was being illegally imported from Russia to Kyrgyzstan.

According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, the inspection was carried out by inspectors of the border veterinary control. During the inspection, it was found that the product labels lacked a production date, which violates the veterinary and sanitary standards of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result, the necessary reports were drawn up, and the import of this cargo into the territory of Kyrgyzstan was prohibited. Ultimately, the kumis was returned to Russia through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint.

The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, along with its veterinary service responsible for the development of livestock, pastures, and feed, continues its work to ensure food safety.
