In the Kara-Suu district, the court imposed a fine of 20,000 soms on a woman found guilty of causing minor harm to health. The verdict was announced on October 27, 2025.

According to the case materials presented in the State Register of Judicial Acts, Janara [name changed J.B.Ö.] was accused of committing a crime against human health. It was established that on August 28, 2024, her ex-husband K.R.M. came to her house in the village of Kara-Suu with his new wife S.R. to express dissatisfaction with Janara's posts on social media, which featured their photos and videos.

As a result of the ensuing conflict, Janara used a sharp object to cut her ex-husband's wrist, causing minor harm to his health. A forensic medical examination conducted on September 10, 2024, confirmed the presence of minor bodily injury to the victim, which led to a temporary health disorder.

During the court hearing, Janara did not admit her guilt and recounted the events of August 28, 2024, when an unfamiliar S.R. wrote to her on her TikTok page: "S.R. is the wife, right? I didn't know he had a wife." That same evening, S.R. and her husband came to Janara's parents' house, created a scandal there, and beat her before leaving. Janara claimed that she did not harm her ex-husband, accusing him of trying to evade alimony payments by slandering her. She asked the court to acquit her.

The court, having reviewed all testimonies and case materials, concluded that Janara was fully guilty. During the court proceedings, the victim spoke about long-standing conflicts with his first wife. On August 26, 2024, Janara published photos of him and his current wife R.S. on her TikTok page, accompanying them with obscene expressions, which caused dissatisfaction from R.S. In response to her message of discontent, Janara stated, "If you give me money, I'll delete it!"

On August 28, when he and his wife arrived at Janara's house, they began a verbal altercation. According to him, Janara started to approach his wife, after which she ran out with a kitchen knife and cut his arm. The victim strongly requested the court to impose a strict punishment on Janara.

A witness in court stated that on August 26, she saw offensive posts about her husband on TikTok and wrote to Janara asking how she knew her husband. In response, Janara wrote her insults and added, "If you bring money to my house, I'll delete it!" On August 28, she came with her husband to Janara's house, where the conflict began. According to her, Janara ran out with a knife and attempted to strike her husband, who received a cut while trying to shield himself with his hand.

A witness, who is Janara's mother, confirmed in court that her daughter had been subjected to violence by her ex-husband, which led to their divorce. She noted that previously R.M.K. and R.S.S. had come to their house and attacked her daughter, which resulted in court appeals. Additionally, on August 27, 2024, they again attempted to harm her daughter, although she did not see any knife with Janara.

The court recognized the testimonies of the victim and the witness R.S. as evidence that Janara caused minor harm to health, as their statements were consistent and fully reflected the circumstances of the incident.

The Kara-Suu District Court found Janara guilty under Article 136 ("Causing minor harm to health") of the Criminal Code and imposed a fine of 200 calculation indicators, amounting to 20,000 soms. The fine is to be collected into the state budget.

The preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave remains in effect until the verdict enters into legal force; after that, it will be lifted.

Parties dissatisfied with the court's decision may file an appeal or a petition to the Osh Regional Court within 30 days through the Kara-Suu District Court.
