The fact of the incident was registered at the Toktogul District Internal Affairs Department, after which an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene to collect the necessary evidence. During the investigation, it became known that the driver left the scene after the incident.
Specialists from the State Traffic Safety Department in the Jalal-Abad region were able to apprehend the suspected perpetrator at the Too-Ashuu pass. He turned out to be a 26-year-old resident of the Leilek district in the Batken region. At the time of his arrest, he was transporting his vehicle on a tow truck.
The detainee was handed over to the investigative authorities of the Toktogul District Internal Affairs Department, and investigative activities are currently ongoing.
