In one of the hotels on Kuliev Street, a tragic incident occurred in which a young man killed a girl, reported the Bishkek City Police Department.
According to law enforcement agencies, on January 26, 2026, at 09:01, a report was received by the "102" service that a man had stabbed a girl in a hotel, resulting in her death at the scene.
A rapid response investigative team and the district management arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, the information was confirmed. It was established that there had been a long-term romantic relationship between D.M. and R.E.
It is known that on the day of the incident, the couple was drinking alcohol, after which a quarrel arose between them. During the conflict, the deceased R.E. stabbed D.M. in the arm, to which he responded by stabbing the girl in the neck.
In connection with the incident, the Investigative Service of the Lenin District Police Department of Bishkek initiated a criminal case under Article 122 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At present, the suspect D.M., born in 2002, has been detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
Law enforcement agencies continue to carry out necessary measures to clarify all the circumstances of the case.
