During the event, the strategic directions for the development of hockey in Kyrgyzstan were addressed.
“Particular attention was given to the historic success of the Kyrgyzstan youth national team, which won gold medals at the U20 World Hockey Championship. Additionally, issues related to preparations for the U18 Asia Cup, which will take place in Kyrgyzstan on April 27, were discussed,” the press release noted.
Details of the national team's participation in the second division Group B competitions organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), which will be held in Bulgaria, were also highlighted. Kyrgyz clubs such as "Uchur" and "Alga" were mentioned as well, as they will participate in international tournaments, including the open championship of Uzbekistan.
