The quarterfinals have determined the participants of the tournament's semifinals.
Iran confirmed its ambitions by knocking out Uzbekistan.
In a Central Asian derby, Iran, the reigning champion and 13-time titleholder, defeated Uzbekistan with a score of 7:4.
The match was eventful: the Uzbeks opened the scoring first, but by the end of the match, they were only trailing 4:5.
