Today, February 16, the championship of the Kyrgyz Republic in sambo has started at the sports complex named after Kaba uulu Kozhomkul, as reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports. The competitions are held in both sports and combat sambo. On the first day of the tournament, athletes will compete in the weight categories of 58, 71, 88, and 98 kg. The championship will conclude on February 17. The opening of the event was attended by the Deputy Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Buzurman Bagyshbekov, as well as participants and representatives of various organizations.
