Littler won the Poland Darts Open


At the inaugural Poland Darts Open, 19-year-old Luke Littler, representing England, became the champion by defeating Gyan van Veen in the final with a score of 8:4.

Littler showcased an impressive level of play, marking seven maximums (180) and an average score of over 108. For his victory, he received a prize of £35,000, which became his fifth title on the European Tour.

The final match was full of tension. In the fifth leg, van Veen achieved the first televised nine-darter of his career, allowing him to take the lead 3:2. However, Littler quickly regained control of the game, winning six of the next seven legs and confidently finishing the match in his favor.

Thus, Littler made history as the first champion of the Polish leg of the European Tour and solidified his position among the leading players in world darts.
