"Manchester City" - holder of the League Cup: O'Reilly's double decided the fate of the final

In the match held at Wembley, Manchester City emerged victorious in the final of the English Football League Cup, defeating Arsenal 2-0.

The key figure of the match was midfielder Nico O'Reilly, who scored two goals in the second half. He netted his first goal in the 60th minute, taking advantage of a mistake by Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, and four minutes later he headed the ball into the opponent's net after an excellent cross from a teammate.

In the second half, Pep Guardiola's team completely controlled the game, not allowing the opponent any chances to create dangerous moments. In the first 45 minutes, Arsenal had a chance to take the lead, but City goalkeeper James Trafford brilliantly dealt with shots from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka.

This victory marked the ninth in the tournament's history for Manchester City and the fifth under Guardiola's management. For Arsenal, this defeat underscores the end of their attempts to win four trophies in the current season.
