The Kyrgyzstan national football team is facing losses ahead of their match against Equatorial Guinea.

The friendly game will take place today, March 25, in Antalya (Turkey) and will start at 20:00 local time in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

Midfielder Gulzhigit Alykulov from Minsk's Dynamo has suffered a back injury before flying to Turkey and will not be able to play for the national team.

Forward Ernist Batyrkanov from the Dordoi team is also out due to an injury sustained in the Kyrgyzstan championship match against Asia (result 1:3), where he was substituted at halftime.

As a result, it was decided to keep the player at the club for further examination and treatment, as reported by the Kyrgyz Football Association.

Additionally, forward Joel Kojo and goalkeeper Erjan Tokataev were not called up for training camps as they are in the recovery phase.

“They are focusing on their health,” added representatives of the KFA.
