A young wrestler from Ak-Tal, located in the Ak-Tala district of the Naryn region, has become a prizewinner at international competitions.

As the athlete's coach, Chyngyz Jamalov, explained, on March 25, an international freestyle wrestling tournament took place in Bishkek at the Palace of Sports named after Kaba Uulu Kojomkul, dedicated to the memory of the honored coach of the Kyrgyz SSR and master of sports of the USSR, Rajap Janayev. During the event, Bayel Rysbekov won a bronze medal.

“This tournament has been held for 29 years and features young wrestlers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries. I brought seven athletes to the competition. In the under-17 category, Bayel Rysbekov faced a representative from Uzbekistan in the match for third place and emerged victorious. It is important to note that he has previously won gold medals at various international tournaments,” added coach Jamalov.
