In Indonesia, 70 bodies were found under the rubble after landslides

The search operations following the landslides in West Java have been ongoing for the eighth day. According to Kazinform, citing Xinhua, rescuers have currently found 70 bodies.
According to the Indonesian publication Detik.com, Ade Dian Permana, head of the Bandung search and rescue agency, noted that clear weather contributed to the successful work of the rescuers, and the bodies were discovered in several locations. The landslides occurred in the Cisarua area of West Bandung early last Saturday. Currently, ten people remain missing.

As of 14:30 local time on Saturday, authorities have been able to identify 52 of the deceased, while the remaining bodies are undergoing examination. Permana added that search teams continue their work, taking safety into account and adjusting tactics based on the situation at the scene.

Indonesia frequently faces issues with flooding and landslides during the rainy season, which typically lasts from October to March.
