Snowfalls and blizzards are expected in southwestern Mongolia

According to meteorologists, in the southwestern part of the country, the wind will blow from the southwest to the northwest, while in other areas, a northwestern wind with the same direction is expected, with a speed of 5-10 meters per second. In the Altai Mountains, Gobi, and steppe regions, strong gusty winds with speeds of 13-15 meters per second are forecasted.

The temperature around Lake Uvs, in the Darhad Basin, and in the valleys of the Tes, Orkhon, Kharaa, and Yeruu rivers will range from -25 to -30°C. In the basins of the Zag-Baidrag, Ider, Eg, Uur, Selenge, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, and Ulz rivers, as well as in the valley of the Khalkh River and the Dornod steppe, temperatures will fluctuate from -19 to -24°C. In the Altai Mountains, the foothills of the Khangai Mountains, and the southeastern part of the Gobi, temperatures are expected to be in the range of -8 to -13°C, while in other regions, it will be from -14 to -19°C.

As for Ulaanbaatar, there is variable cloudiness and no precipitation. The wind is from the northwest, with a speed of 3-8 meters per second. The air temperature is -19 to -21°C, which is 4 degrees lower than the previous day.
