Khaydarov previously held the position of First Deputy Hokim of Tashkent, responsible for financial and economic issues and poverty alleviation, and also headed the Main Department of Economics and Finance of the capital.
The Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement was established as a result of a presidential decree signed on February 6. The new agency has taken over the functions, powers, and tasks that were previously under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy and Finance concerning public procurement.
