As part of the annual festival at Harbin Polarland, a penguin parade took place, as reported by ECNS. The birds, accompanied by park staff, walked past spectators in costumes, including ties and bow ties.

Harbin Polarland is the world's first theme park dedicated to polar animals and Arctic landscapes.

Additionally, Harbin hosts the International Ice and Snow Festival every year, where impressive structures made of ice and snow are erected. In December 2025, a gigantic snow statue of a snowman, comparable in height to an eight-story building, was showcased at the 27th festival.
