Mongolia and the USA aim for large-scale partnership

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, shared information about her meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, which took place on Thursday.

During her working visit to the United States, she held a series of meetings and negotiations aimed at deepening relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

At this meeting, with the goal of strengthening the strategic partnership of the "Third Neighbor," the participants discussed issues related to increasing political trust, the frequency of high-profile visits, as well as the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as the economy, trade, investment, mining, and energy, as well as strengthening ties between peoples and discussing regional issues.


Additionally, emphasizing the successful implementation of the Second Agreement, carried out jointly by the Government of Mongolia and the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation, both sides noted the importance of deepening the content and expanding the scope of future cooperation through bilateral negotiations.
