As a result of the snowfall in the region, special measures have been organized to protect residential houses and reduce the risk of flooding. Military personnel, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, and local government specialists are participating in these efforts.
As part of these measures, sandbags have been installed in residential areas to prevent meltwater from entering yards. Additionally, yards have been cleared of water, and drainage systems have been cleaned to ensure effective drainage of meltwater.
The planned measures aim to minimize flood risks, protect the property of local residents, and ensure the stable functioning of urban infrastructure during the snowmelt.
