According to the Telegram channel Baza, citing its sources, there is a possibility of a complete blocking of the Telegram messenger in Russia starting April 1. The source claims that access to the application will be impossible both through mobile networks and fixed internet.
At the moment, there is no official confirmation of this information. Representatives of Roskomnadzor stated that they cannot provide new information on this issue and have not confirmed a specific date for a possible blocking.
Previously, the regulator had already mentioned the introduction of restrictions regarding Telegram, emphasizing that pressure on the platform will continue until the requirements of Russian legislation are met. However, no official statements about a complete blocking starting April 1 have been made yet.
