According to the new decree, heads of educational institutions are required to ensure that the vaccination rate among children does not fall below 90%. They must also conduct a "morning filter" to prevent children and staff with symptoms of illness from entering educational establishments and inform parents about the importance of immunization.
Furthermore, in the event of measles cases being identified, educational organizations are mandated to temporarily suspend unvaccinated children.
Previously, representatives of sanitary and epidemiological control reported that mass refusals of vaccination have led to a decrease in collective immunity in the country. According to the agency, 59% of children who contracted measles were unvaccinated due to their parents' refusals of vaccination.
