- The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The United States abstained from voting.
- Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, confirmed that the EU intends to provide Ukraine with a loan of 90 billion euros, despite a veto from Hungary, and to introduce a new package of sanctions against Russia.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Nordic and Baltic countries plan to provide military assistance to Ukraine amounting to 12.5 billion euros this year.
- Leaders of the "coalition of the willing," gathered in Kyiv to mark the fourth anniversary of the war, issued a joint statement emphasizing the need to continue supporting Ukraine and to strengthen economic measures against Russia.
- On February 24, the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control added four individuals and three companies to its sanctions list, including the St. Petersburg company Operation Zero (LLC "Matrix") and its head Sergey Zelenyuk, who develops zero-day vulnerabilities for various clients, including the Russian government.
- The United Kingdom expanded its sanctions list against Russia, adding 297 new entries, including 240 legal entities and seven individuals, as well as 50 maritime vessels.
- Canada announced new sanctions against Russia and additional assistance to Kyiv, with 21 individuals, 53 organizations, and 100 vessels from Russia's "shadow fleet" added to the blacklist.
- The Australian government also implemented the most significant sanctions against Russia since 2022, adding 180 new individuals and legal entities, as well as vessels from the "shadow fleet."
- Kyiv described the accusations from Russian intelligence regarding Ukraine's attempts to acquire nuclear weapons and technology with the help of the UK and France as absurd.
- As a result of a strike by the Russian army in the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were killed and five were injured.
