This year, a major overhaul of 22 substations operating at voltages of 220/110/35 kV is planned in the Batken region. The information was provided by the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, at eight substations, including "Dzhin-Dzhigan," "Kadamjai," "Tamasha," "Khalmion," and "Isfana," outdated oil circuit breakers with a voltage of 6-10 kV will be replaced with modern vacuum analogs.

- current transformers (CT) at voltages of 35 kV and 10 kV;
- anti-resonance voltage transformers (VT) at voltages of 35 kV and 10 kV.
At the "Kadamjai," "Kyzyl-Kiya," and "Metallurgical" substations, operating at 110/35/6 kV, old oil circuit breakers will be replaced with gas-insulated ones. At the "Markaz" and "Shamirova" substations, worn-out oil switching devices will also be replaced with new vacuum circuit breakers.
In total, the Batken PES substation service manages 51 substations operating at voltages of 220/110/35/10 kV, among which:
- 2 substations at 220/110/35 kV;
- 15 substations at 110/35/10 kV;
- 34 substations at 35/10/6 kV.
