The enterprise is responsible for:
- two substations with a voltage of 500 kV,
- three substations with a voltage of 220 kV,
- twenty substations with a voltage of 110 kV,
- ninety-nine substations with a voltage of 35 kV,
- five thousand nine hundred thirty-nine transformers 10/04 kV,
- eighty-nine kilometers of overhead lines 500 kV,
- nine hundred twenty-seven kilometers of overhead lines 220 kV,
- one hundred sixty-five kilometers of SIP cable.
The total volume of capital repairs amounted to 39.7 million soms, current repairs — 163 million soms, and 455 million soms were allocated for network reconstruction. During the work, additional transformers were installed, old ones were replaced with more powerful ones, cabinets and indoor networks were repaired, and outdated wires were replaced with modern self-supporting insulated (SIP) cables.
According to Duyshykeev, the use of SIP cable contributed to a reduction in the number of emergency shutdowns and increased the reliability of the lines, as this cable is resistant to temperature fluctuations and wind loads.
In 2025, 25 new transformer substations were installed in the Chui region, and three substations with a voltage of 35 kV were built in the Suusamyr Valley and the village of Baytik.
For 2026, the replacement of about 150 km of outdated wires with modern SIP cables is planned.
Note:
SIP cable is a self-supporting insulated wire that does not require additional supports, is protected from short circuits, and is resistant to wind, snow, and temperature fluctuations, which helps reduce accidents and energy losses.
