The exhibition at the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art (OUMA) in Atlanta is dedicated to works from the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art and the Sapir Contemporary Art Gallery in New York.
The exhibition features works by artist Үүрийнтуяа Дагвасамбуу from the "Монгол Зураг" community. Her paintings, such as "Behind the Scenes" and "Floating World," capture the attention of viewers and showcase contemporary Mongolian visual art. Traditional scroll paintings and artifacts from Mongolia, Nepal, and Tibet are also displayed, along with selected works from the OUMA Asian Art collection, including a new piece created specifically for this exhibition.

Үүрийнтуяа, recognized as a master of contemporary Mongolian art and the "Монгол Зураг" paintings, harmoniously combines traditional Mongolian and Buddhist motifs with contemporary themes. In her works, she emphasizes the lives of women and the everyday rhythms in post-nomadic Mongolia, reinterpreting traditions in a modern context.
She began her career in 2001 while still studying. Her works are in the collections of museums such as the Dallas Museum of Art, the Allen Memorial Art Museum at Oberlin College, the Queensland Art Gallery, and the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.
