President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented an award to Khairullo Ibadullaev, who witnessed an incident when a six-year-old boy fell from a window on the seventh floor in St. Petersburg. The press secretary noted that Ibadullaev's act was a manifestation of true courage and selflessness characteristic of the people of Uzbekistan.

On February 22, an incident occurred in St. Petersburg: a boy fell from the window of a multi-story building. Khairullo, working as a janitor, caught the child and provided first aid before handing him over to the concierge to wait for an ambulance. As a result of the fall, the man likely suffered broken ribs, while the child was reported to have a broken leg. At the time of the incident, the boy's mother was in another room of their home.

Khairullo Ibadullaev arrived in St. Petersburg only four months ago in search of work, leaving behind four children and sick parents at home, as reported by Gazeta.uz.
