Additionally, as a result of these attacks, other high-profile figures were killed, including Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Mohammad Pakpour, Chief of Staff Abdulrahim Mousavi, Minister of Defense Aziz Nasirzadeh, and other military leaders.
In light of the events that have occurred, a temporary leadership council has been announced in Iran, which will assume the functions of the Supreme Leader until a new one is elected.
