
During the discussions, the parties noted that the year 2026 will be an important milestone in their relations due to the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties, which creates new prospects for joint development.
Prime Minister of Mongolia, Zandan Shatar Gombojav, presented upcoming events such as the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (COP17), scheduled to take place in Ulaanbaatar in August, as well as the Mongolia Economic Forum, which will be held in June. He also invited his Belgian counterpart, Bart De Wever, to visit Mongolia.

In response to the invitation, Prime Minister Bart De Wever expressed his gratitude and confirmed his readiness to consider the nominations of delegations to participate in the specified events. He also emphasized that Belgium is interested in expanding cooperation with Mongolia.
