Dosmambetov pointed out serious problems in the field of oncology care in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing that the current indicators are extremely alarming. He believes that the lack of fresh ideas and development in this area hinders the training of specialists.
The minister added that this is precisely what leads to high mortality rates from oncological diseases, forcing patients to seek treatment abroad, primarily in Russia, which requires significant financial expenditures from the budget.
He also mentioned that he had discussions with the director of the Oncology Center, Nurbek Bukuev, about the existing problems, to which Bukuev responded that there were no difficulties. "This indicates that he is either satisfied with himself or does not wish to recognize and address the problems of the system. The person is indifferent to this field and does not care about it," Dosmambetov concluded.
