In the Suzak district, a new monitoring program will be implemented aimed at the early detection of children suffering from autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Health Aibek Matkerimov during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which addresses issues related to labor, health care, women's rights, and social protection.

As Matkerimov noted, the program will operate in a pilot mode with the participation of international organizations.

He also added that primary care staff have already undergone the necessary training to work within this initiative.

The committee meeting also concerns the implementation of the resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 5, 2024, No. 2142-VII, regarding the results of the work of the temporary deputy commission studying the issues of children with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, as well as the observance of their rights as provided by current legislation.
