In the Kyrgyz Republic, a project is being launched to create a unified database that will contain information about children suffering from autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other diseases. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Health, Aibek Matkerimov, at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of labor, health, women's affairs, and social policy.

During the discussion, he presented the following data:


Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva expressed concern about the discrepancies in the data and called for the necessity of creating a centralized database.

In response, Aibek Matkerimov stated that work on this database is already underway and is in the final stages.
