She emphasized that it is extremely important at this moment to develop a three-tier model of medical service provision.
“The situation with the load on hospitals is becoming critical. We lack clear instructions, and patients with any ailments are sent to hospitals, which leads to long queues. Attention should be paid to primary healthcare. With the arrival of a new leader, opportunities for structural changes are opening up. Reforms in the system are necessary,” she stated.
The deputy also noted the importance of digitizing records and data, as well as the need to attract young specialists to the healthcare sector.
“I wish you to create a qualified team and demonstrate political will,” she added.
The parliament considered Osmonov's candidacy for the ministerial position and gave its approval.
