Tailors will receive support from the presidential fund
During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev announced that tailors will be able to take advantage of interest-free loans provided by two state banks — Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank.
According to Amangeldiev, the tailoring business in Kyrgyzstan is facing financial difficulties, which prompted the president to decide to provide such assistance.
He specified that delays in cargo at the border deprive tailors of the opportunity to produce new batches of goods due to a lack of funds, and that is why the program of interest-free loans was initiated.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the funding will be sourced from the presidential fund.
In addition, Amangeldiev refuted information about the closure of 6,000 to 8,000 tailoring workshops in Kyrgyzstan, calling it inaccurate.
