- More than 400 companies in Kyrgyzstan that produce livestock products have been included in the register of enterprises of the Eurasian Economic Union and meet the established veterinary and sanitary requirements. This was reported on the radio by Tilek Tabaldiev, head of the veterinary and sanitary safety department of the veterinary service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to Tabaldiev, the register mainly includes producers of dairy and meat products, as well as honey, fish, and other types of livestock products. The key export directions remain dairy products, honey, sausage products, and fish.

He also noted that last year there was a growth in the export of chicken eggs, amounting to more than 12 million units of local production sent abroad.

Tabaldiev added that enterprises actively engaged in exports are mostly well-informed about the EAEU requirements. However, some individual entrepreneurs sometimes attempt to export their products without the necessary accompanying documents. In such cases, there is a need to obtain veterinary certificates and laboratory conclusions at the border.

Additionally, he mentioned that technical errors or typos can occur when processing documents, which are quickly rectified, allowing the export process to resume.
