At a board meeting dedicated to the results of the agency's work, the head of the State Tax Service, Alambet Shykmamatov, announced significant transformations in tax administration. The key change was the cessation of excessive inspections of businesses.
According to Shykmamatov, the agency decided to abandon direct interference with entrepreneurs, as fear cannot serve as a sustainable source for budget formation.
He also added that starting from 2025, the functions of conducting field inspections by employees of the central office of the State Tax Service have been completely abolished, which significantly reduced corruption risks at this level.
In addition, approaches to the appointment and conduct of inspections in regional divisions have been revised. The State Tax Service has established a control and coordination system that focuses not on the number of inspections, but on their justification and quality.
