According to the analytical agency "Autostat," Kyrgyzstan has become the leader among the EAEU countries in the volume of new passenger cars imported into Russia.

Belarus ranks second with 17.1 thousand cars, while Kazakhstan rounds out the top three with 11 thousand passenger vehicles. Armenia, in turn, supplied only 344 new cars during the same period.

As for used passenger cars, Kyrgyzstan is in first place with 2.8 thousand vehicles, followed by Armenia (1.5 thousand) and Kazakhstan (1.1 thousand).

Additionally, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has proposed changes to the mechanism for calculating the recycling fee on cars imported by individuals from EAEU countries. The agency believes there is a problem with undervaluation of customs value and the use of various schemes to reduce taxes. The proposed adjustments aim to create transparent conditions for imports and the proper payment of all fees.
