The digitalization of container transportation was discussed by Arzybek Kozhoshev and the Ministry of Transport of Russia

At a meeting between Andrey Nikitin, the Minister of Transport of Russia, and Arzybek Kozhoshev, a member of the Board on Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, issues of cooperation within the Council of Heads of Authorized Bodies in the Transport Sector of the EAEU countries were discussed. Nikitin expressed support for the initiative to invite representatives of observer states to the upcoming council meeting.

During the meeting, the issue of forming a roadmap for implementing key directions of the coordinated transport policy of the EAEU for the period 2027-2029 was also considered. The main priorities include regulatory regulation in the field of digital development, the introduction of unmanned technologies, and the creation of unified standards for autonomous systems.

In addition, participants discussed pilot projects related to the use of navigation seals. Since February 11, mandatory continuous tracking of goods transportation using navigation seals has been introduced in Kyrgyzstan and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Projects concerning electronic international transport consignment notes e-CMR were also mentioned, as well as preparations for launching a pilot project on the digitalization of container transportation by rail.
