Employees of local departments of the ministry, the akim of the Kara-Suu district, as well as the presidential representative in the Osh region Amanakan Kenjebayev, heads of all rural districts, and the head of the district emergency situations department participated in the event.
The minister received reports from relevant services on the state of preparations for the spring fieldwork, including the provision of mineral fertilizers and the cleaning of irrigation canals. The heads of the rural districts presented data on the amount of irrigated land in their territories and sources of water intake.
Bakyt Torobaev emphasized the need to strengthen preparatory work and inform farmers about the advantages of using certified seeds.
“It is important to convey to farmers the benefits of certified seeds. To avoid difficulties during the irrigation season, the cleaning of irrigation canals must be completed in advance,” he stressed.
