The physical volume index reached 109.8% by 2024, which also reflects the ministry's data.
It is noted that one of the main factors contributing to growth is the light industry, including both textile and garment production. The production volumes of textiles, clothing, footwear, and leather goods increased by 9.6%.
This growth is attributed to the expansion of production capacities and the opening of new facilities, as well as the active development of enterprises in various regions of the country, such as the Osh, Talas, Naryn, and Issyk-Kul regions, where garment and textile production, wool processing, and the production of related goods are developing.
Additionally, among the growth factors are the diversification of export markets and the active development of e-commerce, including the use of marketplaces. By the end of 2025, more than 20,000 sellers from Kyrgyzstan were registered on such platforms.
