Weekly fairs organized by local producers continue in Bishkek and across the country. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has confirmed that the schedule for these events will remain in effect until June 2026.
The ministry's press service noted that there are currently sufficient food supplies in the republic, and there is no shortage of essential goods. Fairs are held on scheduled days to provide the domestic market with quality products at prices lower than market rates, as well as to support socially vulnerable groups of the population.
Every weekend, fairs take place in the capital with active support from the city administration. The trading venues are located at the following addresses:
T. Usubaliev Square (intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets);Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky district);Embankment of the Vostok-5 microdistrict.
Organizers remind participants of the need to comply with sanitary and hygienic standards and the mandatory presence of price tags on goods. To confirm their producer status, participants are required to provide a letter from the district agricultural administration.
This approach to trading without intermediaries helps to curb price increases and maintain stability in the country's food market.
