Kyrgyzstan's GDP will exceed 2 trillion soms by the end of 2025, - Kasymaliev

- A republican meeting was held in Bishkek on February 27, attended by President Sadyr Japarov.

During the meeting, three main reports are planned to be presented: on the results of work in the economic and financial sectors, as well as in the real economy and social sphere for 2025.

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, provided information on activities in the field of economy and finance.

According to the established development program, the average annual GDP growth rate for 2025 is planned at 5.5%. However, over the past four years, Kyrgyzstan has shown growth at a rate of 9%.

According to preliminary data for the end of 2025, the GDP volume is expected to reach 1 trillion 976 billion soms, with a real growth rate of 11.1%.

Kasymaliev noted: “It is expected that by the end of 2025, GDP will exceed 2 trillion soms, and the growth rate will be above 11%.”

He also added that under the program until 2026, GDP per capita should reach 1500 dollars, but already in 2025 this figure is projected to be at the level of 3075 dollars.
